TOURNAMENT FORMAT
  • 8 Teams divided into 2 groups.
  • All teams play 3 league matches in Group phase.
  • Top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the knock out phase(SEMI FINAL).
  • All LEAGUE matches will be of 6 over’s per side.
  • KNOCK OUT matches(semi final & final) will be of 8 or 10 over’s per side.
  • Points in league stage ; Win 3 points, loss 0 points and tie 1 point each. Walkover – 3 points.
  • In case of tie in points in league stage, net run rate will decide standings.
  • Net run rate will be calculated as RUNS SCORED IN TOTAL NUMBER OF OVER’S against RUNS GIVEN IN TOTAL NUMBER OF OVER’S.
  • In case of a tie in net run rate, wicket rate will be considered. Team losing least number of wickets will decide standings.
RULES
  • Teams have to report to the organizers at least 30 minutes prior to commencement of their matches.
  • Captains have to exchange playing XI list before toss & tell their decision(bat/bowl) immediately after toss.
  • Each team is allotted 20 minutes in league matches and 30 or 40 minutes in knock out matches to bowl their quota of over’s. Failing which teams will be penalized with 10 runs per over. Plus they have to finish bowling their quota of over’s.
  • Minimum of 5 bowlers must have to bowl in each innings(league or knockout).
  • Chucking is strictly prohibited. It is strictly in the discretion of the umpires. Batsmen cannot appeal.
  • 1 bouncer(between shoulder and head) per over allowed.
  • All ICC rules will be followed in the tournament. Where as, LBW & LEG BYES will not be allowed.
  • Any ball touching the trees will be immediately considered six.
  • All decisions related to playing conditions are solely in the discretion of umpires/match officials.
  • Players are categorized according to the information provided by themselves and Coordinators feedback.
  • Each team will have to chose a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 13 players(excluding CAPTAIN & COORDINATOR).
  • All the players must have played at least 1 match by the end of league phase.
  • Four teams for the 1st & 2nd match will be picked after grouping. All these four teams have to be present in the ground by 6.30 AM. Failing which walkover will be awarded to the opponent.
  • After the 2 semi finals, BOWL OUT will be organized for NON SEMIFINALISTS teams.
  • Each team will have to nominate 5 bowlers from their respective team.
  • Special award will be given to the bowl out winning team.
  • Man of the match(all the matches), Man of the Series, Best Bowler & Best Batsman will be given.
  • All the awards will be decided on the basis of performance points.
  • FAIR PLAY AWARD will be awarded. Umpires will be giving points. Criteria is as follows; respect to the decisions, respect to the opponents & punctuality.
